 5S is the Japanese methodology that helps us to maintain the organization in better way. 5S is a structured workplace organization framework designed to maximize efficiency, quality, and safety by eliminating clutter and waste. Developed in Japan as a foundational pillar of the Toyota Production System (Lean manufacturing) , it transforms messy, chaotic workspaces into highly productive environments through five sequential steps:  5S represents five Japanese words 1. Sort : (Seiri): Remove unnecessary items from the workspace and focus on cleaning the shop floor/ work place.  2. Set in Order: (Seiton): Organize necessary items logically and efficiently. Tools that are used frequently should be placed near to operator. The thumb rule for this step is "a place for everything, and everything in its place".  3.
