7 QC Tools

 To do any work we require a set of tools, similarly to maintain quality in the product and process we require some tools and these tools are called as Seven Basics Quality Control Tools or 7 QC Tools. These tools not only maintain quality in the industry but also help to resolve the issues or defects, with the help of these tools we can easily solve the problem and find root cause of the problem. These tools are called basic tools as these tools can be used by operators also, these tools don't require any expertise in statistics.  Before we learn about 7QC Tools, we should understand one important thing that we can't use all tools at the same time, each tools has its own uniqueness. TPM Total Productive Maintenance

 TPM is stand for Total Productive Maintenance. TPM is a system that increase the effectiveness of machines and create safe environment by the activity involvement of each employee of the company. This system is Top to Down approach i.e. to start TPM System initiation is taken by the head of the company, after this top management is involved in TPM activities then middle management and then the employees on the shop floor.  The objective of of tpm to increase the overall effectiveness of the equipment that is OEE by the actively involvement of all the employees. Kaizen

  Kaizen is a Japanese word which means continuous improvement, this improvement can be big or small.  Kaizen is combination of two Japanese words “kai-” which means “change” and “-zen” which means “good.”  According to kaizen philosophy, each Industry has scope of improvement in each function or system of the industry and it is ongoing and continuous process. In English Kaizen mean "Change for Good" .  Quality Product is very important in any manufacturing industry it is just as oxygen for all living creators on earth, Quality is a life line of an industry.   In manufacturing, quality control is a process that ensures customers receive products free from  defect and meet their needs. When done the wrong way, it can put consumers at risk. A product is known as a quality product only when it satisfies various criteria for its functioning for the consumer. In addition to the physical criteria, there is also a service and time factor to quality. The same quality of physical performance should be available over a reasonable length of time. Hence time is also unnecessary aspect of quality. We cannot define the quality of product but we can say that, quality is the performance of the product as per the commitment made by the producer to the consumer or is the product is as efficient as required by the customer. First of all we should understand what do we mean by manufacturing, Manufacturing is a process by which raw material convert on finished goods on large scale. Common definition of manufacturing is the production of goods through the use of manpower, material, machinery, tools and biological or chemical processing or formulation. Manufacturing can also mean transforming raw materials into finished goods on a large scale, or the creation of more complex items by selling basic goods to manufacturers for the production of items such as automobiles, aircraft, or household appliances. For an example Bearings is manufactured in an industry which sell to an automobile industry, where bearings is mounted in vehicles.  In Manufacturing industries it is very important that there is particular method or process to convert raw material into finished required product. There can be number of sub process in a industry to convert raw material into finished goods.
